The Ford Bronco 6th generation comes equipped with upfitter switches that allow the driver to control various electrical accessories, such as auxiliary lighting, winches, and air compressors. These switches are mounted on the center console of the vehicle. They provide a convenient way to control aftermarket accessories added to the vehicle.
There are six upfitter switches in total. The switches have a maximum capacity of 30 amps and are designed to handle a wide range of electrical loads. The switches are also backlit, making them easy to locate and operate in low-light conditions.
A key advantage of the upfitter switches is that they provide a clean and professional-looking installation for aftermarket accessories. Rather than having to run wires and install separate switches, the upfitter switches integrate seamlessly into the vehicle’s interior and provide a factory-installed appearance.
However, I also wanted a nice set of labels for the switches. I have a Ford Raptor with upfitter switches, and sometimes forget which switch controls which system. I could have designed a set of stickers, but instead I found pre-printed on StickerFab. They gave me a clean option for labeling the switches.
My upfitter switches are allocated to the following:
- Aux 3 – Baja Designs Spot Lights
- Aux 4 – Baja Designs Cornering Floods
- Aux 5 – IAG Interior Light Kit
- Aux 6 – ARB Twin Air Compressor mounted under the hood
Just for fun I added the Bronco and Sasquatch Stickers to the unused Aux 1 and Aux 2 switches.
Overall, the upfitter switches on the Ford Bronco 6th generation provide a convenient and reliable way to control aftermarket electrical accessories. They offer clean installation and customization options. Adding these stickers added a clean look to the upfitter switches.
